The Service
Those black streaks are gloeocapsa magma algae eating your shingles' limestone filler; the green patches are moss prying tabs apart. High pressure would blast both away — along with your granules. So we never use it up there.
Our soft-wash system applies a shingle-safe treatment at garden-hose pressure, kills growth down to the root, and lets the rain rinse the roof back to its original color over the following weeks.
What's Included
Algae, moss and lichen killed at the root with shingle-safe chemistry.
Tiger-striping on gutters and fascia hand-cleaned to match.
Plants misted, covered and rinsed; gutters flushed; walkways left spotless.
Our Process
We photograph the roof, check flashing and gutters, and shield every plant bed below.
Soft-wash mix applied at garden-hose pressure — no granule loss, no lifted tabs.
Treatment dwells, heavy moss is gently agitated off, then a soft rinse carries it all away.
Zinc-strip advice for regrowth prevention plus a photo report of your renewed roof.
Benefits
FAQ
Yes. The treatment kills moss to the root; heavy clumps are gently lifted by hand, and remaining discoloration fades with rainfall over 4–8 weeks. No pressure needed.
We pre-wet, cover and post-rinse every bed, and neutralize downspout discharge. With our protocol, landscaping damage is virtually unheard of.
Typically 3–5 years in our climate. Shaded, north-facing roofs trend shorter; ask about zinc strips to stretch it further.
